  • Josh Cantoni

    COACH

Hey, I’m Josh! I’ve been coaching and working in the health and fitness industry since early 2017. I am a coach with a passion for training older clients, given my personal training experience accumulated over the years. My coaching approach or aim is to communicate evidence-based exercise knowledge in an efficient, simplified manner. When it comes to health and fitness, the motto or philosophy that I live by and impart onto others is "use it, or lose it".

I was inspired to become a personal trainer after participating in 2016 Tough Mudder team competition, when during the event, I guided one of my team members to finish the race after becoming injured. Prior to working here at FITA U, I have helped working professionals and over 40s at Vision Personal Training, and have trained the large student-staff demographic at UQ Sport. Over the thousands of sessions that I have run, I have gotten to know my clients very well, with my most loyal client staying with me for three and a half years (almost the entirety of her PhD).

It has been a privilege changing my clients' lives for the better, with quite a few success stories along the way. I look forward to achieving similar results with FITA U!
